Dr. Isabel Moreno-López

Dr. Isabel Moreno-López serves as professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies and the associate provost for undergraduate studies and dean of equity and inclusive excellence at ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ since 2002. Dr. Moreno-López supports programmatic and academic functions of the LAUNCH Scholars Network (LSN), the Office of Title IX, the office of Religious and Spiritual Life (RSL), and the Center for Race, Equity and Identity (CREI); coordinates the Support Team, Convocation, Baccalaureate and the student speaker recruitment process across all graduation ceremonies. Dr. Moreno-López and SGA team up to improve accessibility at ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ, by identifying problem areas, setting clear goals and making recommendations. Finally, Dr. Moreno-López develops and enforces policies and works with Cabinet members and legal counsel to uphold ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ´s core principles in a community inclusive of all.

Melissa Alexander possesses a decade in higher education with previous experiences in residence life, opportunity and access, and student life. As an individual and professional, Melissa values a positive attitude, collaboration, communication, respect, and hard work. Melissa is a proud graduate of the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), a program like LAUNCH, which afforded her the opportunity to pursue an undergraduate education. Melissa’s personal experience in HEOP and professional experiences supporting other opportunity programs inform her current work with the LAUNCH Scholars Network.
Originally from Binghamton, NY, Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Siena College and Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. Melissa enjoys all things basketball and can be found watching basketball or playing NBK 2K. She also enjoys watching documentaries, The Golden Girls, and online shopping for new socks!

Catia Rembert is a Philadelphia native passionate about education and creating welcoming and affirming environments for students. Her background includes a B.A. in communication studies and an M.S. in higher education policy and student affairs from West Chester University. As the director for equity & inclusive excellence, Catia leads programming and initiatives that help to create a culturally aware and inclusive ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ community. Resources and programming offered in the Center for Race, Equity and Identity (CREI) include – The Gender Affirming Closet, Preferred Name Policy, Affinity Spaces and Graduation Ceremonies, and Registered Student Organization Advising. Catia also oversees Religious & Spiritual Life (RSL), which includes religious accommodations, RSL student workers, and the Uber business account that provides students with transportation to attend religious services.

Dr. Isabel Moreno-López is a professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies and the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Studies and Dean of Equity and Inclusive Excellence, and she has been at ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ since 2002.
