This past summer, two of ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ’s Center for Psychology faculty conducted summer research with students: Dr. Grayman-Simpson and Dr. Gillian Starkey. Both of these projects were funded by the ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ Summer Research Program.

On April 26, a number of psychology majors attended and presented at the annual ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ Symposium. In the research presentations category, Sam Kane-Gerard ('18), Scotty Lind ('18), and Sarah Lummis ('17) spoke about their work on whether academic resource centers promote empirically-supported learning strategies to undergraduates.

Associate Professor of Psychology Dr. Nyasha Grayman-Simpson recently published the article, "What Would I Know About Mercy? Faith and optimistic expectancies among African Americans" in the March 2017 volume of Race and Social Problems.
